Ride Update - COVID-19 April
With all the media discussion over COVID19, I thought it relevant to inform you in regards to our future club activities.
The World Health Organisation and our own State and Commonwealth governments have issued statements about ‘social distancing’ and how to keep yourself and your family safe. Many events have been cancelled or postponed, in a hope of reducing the spread of the virus. It isn’t known what the situation will be like in a week’s time, let alone six months. There is a great deal of uncertainty, and with this is mind and the welfare of our club members, we have decided the following:
All Trail rides and Training events will be cancelled, until further notice
Committee meetings will go ahead, but by electronic means
We will continue to review the situation as the months progress. It is in the best interests of organisers and participants that this decision is made. Fortunately, it is quite safe…and reassuring…that we can still hug and interact with our beloved horses.
Be safe everyone and look after yourselves and your loved ones,
Julie Robins
