Ride Update - COVID-19 May
Now that our public activity restrictions have been slightly softened (28/4/2020) we are going to cautiously start running club events.
For the moment, only trail rides will be reinstated. Weekenders and training events will be suspended, until further notice
There are conditions, so please read carefully !!!
ALL attendees MUST adhere to the Government COVID19 rules, i.e. social distancing, hand hygiene, etc, at all times. It is your responsibility to protect yourself and to protect those around you. This might include not touching other people's gear, vehicles or their horses. We also need to be respectful of how other people might be feeling, which might be different to how you are managing.
If you are unwell, have cold or flu-like symptoms, DO NOT COME!!! If you have RSVP’d and then become unwell, please ring the organiser so that they know not to wait for you on the day.
There will only be 10 riders, in total on any ride. If the ride is over-subscribed, then a lottery drawer (or lucky dip) will be done of all those who have RSVP’d. You will be advised BEFORE the ride date if you have missed out.
Please be gracious to the organiser if you miss out in the drawer. There will be other opportunities for you to ride on other events.
The situation will continue to be monitored by your club committee and changes will be made according to government instructions.
At this stage, we will not be allowing Day Membership. As we are not currently running Training Days, we cannot assess the horse and rider skills, which is a requirement before coming on a trail ride.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments.
Your committee is doing it's best in a rather odd world that we currently live in.
Best regards,
Julie Robins
